Why tenant isolation belongs in the first architecture diagram
Retrofitting boundaries after growth is slower, riskier and more expensive than designing them early.

Marketing systems become useful when the operating decisions around them are explicit: ownership, evidence, permission, exceptions and the next action.
Isolation is an operating promise
Tenant boundaries shape identity, data access, connector credentials, feature configuration, usage limits, audit history and support processes. They are not only a database concern.
Configuration needs an owner
A SaaS platform should make the effective tenant configuration inspectable: enabled modules, regional defaults, channel providers, limits, branding and the people authorised to change them.
Provisioning is part of the lifecycle
The path from qualified enquiry to active tenant should create an auditable workspace, owner, plan, region, configuration and onboarding state. Treating that flow as product work reduces fragile manual setup.
The goal is less coordination cost with more accountability.
